Through realistic planning and clear guidance, I’ll help you create a well-supported postpartum experience so you can feel empowered instead of anxious, and find the rest and connection you deserve.

Hello! I’m Lucy—Postpartum Navigator

I know—that’s a new one. I also go by Postpartum Planner/Support Person/Guide.

You can call me whatever you want, but what I’m here for is to guide families through postpartum planning AND postpartum recovery. I firmly believe that you were never meant to work through this time on your own, even if that’s what you’ve always done (been there, tried that, regretted it).

I also reeeaally like books. I just needed you to know that.
You are more than welcome to check out what I read on my Storygraph page.

So…you are not a postpartum doula. Right?

Nope.
I used to be. And maybe I will be again.

But right now, here’s what I do: I help parents create a postpartum plan. And then I help them put that plan into action. Easy peasy.

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

Postpartum Navigation

Anticipate and prepare for your needs with a comprehensive but realistic postpartum plan. Once baby arrives, I'll help you implement the plan, and we’ll face new challenges together as they pop up.

Here’s a hard truth about postpartum:

You’re probably not ready.

Unless you have a good friend or sister/cousin who has given you all the dirt, you probably only have a vague idea of what to expect. Maybe you already realize that, and the uncertainty leads you into little anxiety spirals on a regular basis.

Either way, here’s what I need you to know: Taking care of a newborn is HARD work, and if you ignore your own needs to do it, it gets exponentially harder.

  • A break from the stress and grind of everyday life

  • People to willingly do the things you can’t do because you’re resting

  • Tending to your physical and emotional health

Every postpartum person needs:

And, really, the only way to have a fair shot at getting them, is to make a postpartum plan.

Sound impossible? Or just…like…a lot? I got you.

You don’t have to figure this out alone. In fact, you were never meant to.
